Founded in 1946 and chartered by the U.S. Congress in 1953, the National Conference on Citizenship (NCoC) is a leading non–profit center that supprots our nation's civic responsibilities. NCoC tracks, measures and promotes the study of citizenship and government with particular attention given to the role of citizens in the operation and oversight of government. They focus on ways to enhance historical and civic education, encourage national and community service, and promote greater participation in the political process.

Project Overview:
Just in time for election day, the National Conference on Citizenship (NCOC) launched a community driven, informational website for issues and programs regarding civic political engagement. The site is content rich and provides the public downloadable media, blogging forums and national news articles. They also provide information about how and where to get involved with active civic programs.

Now more than ever, the general public is participating and watching as the nation goes through changes. With this new website and technological capabilities, an on looker is encouraged to speak their mind through the blogging forum. Staff at NCOC monitors and updates content constantly with the GeekPAK software in a fast, user–friendly and organized way.
